Need HELP!
My daughter in law has not had a period for the nine months of course but now it is 31 months. The baby is 21 months and she is still nursing. She is so depressed she can’t focus. We want to know if the depression has something to do with nursing. She started with post partum, but the Dr. said this is beyond as the baby is 21 months.
She says she can’t do anything and she can’t.
She is taking lexapro for the past month and took an antidepressant early on.
I think she was high on the other antidepressant and this lexapro is doing nothing for her. She can’t even seem to pick up the phone and call the DR. I am discouraged by seeing how she can do nothing. Her husband (my son) made her get up the past two days. Today after he left she went back to bed till 9:30 AM
Yesterday he told her she had to put the dishes in the dishwasher and wash some clothes. She said she tried but it was SO HARD
Today he said try making the bed and one more thing. I don’t think she has anything done yet but she did the tread mill. She is huge on exercise and seems to be able to do that!!!
DISCOURAGED!!! We all are.
Does nursing so long cause this? She is so little only weights about 98 pounds. I am afraid of the high and low. She does not see that!?!???
